First of all, I wish you can read Korean language on your web site as there are more and more interesting web sites for you to enjoy in Korean. Also, I would like to write some Korean language article that can only be expressed in Korean such as essays, poem, jokes and etc. Window XP(both home and professional) is much faster, stable and multi-language operating system. You not only can see Korean but also write in Korean any place of the programs on the Widows XP. This upgrade is very worthwhile. The price of the Widows XP Home Edition is about $80-90. For those who still use old Windows 98 or ME, I really believe upgrading is best solution but you can also bring some program to read or write (input;입력). Just read this web site in Korean should be no problem as you can download newest Internet Explorer from Microsoft Download Site. Once you have installed the newest version of Internet Explorer, go to VIEW menu on the top and then click encoding menu. You will see list of language option and just click the KOREAN, and that's it.
In fact, if you upgrade the windows to XP, you can use any word processor to write Korean and so that you really do not need to buy separate Korean language word processor. There is not much extra fonts available so that you cannot play much fancy writing with, such as 궁서. You can even write in Chinese character in Email or word processor. Unfortunately this web site is not matured enough to do that yet.
